Also, the hoodlums allegedly looted the All Progressives Congress, APC, offices and individual houses belonging mainly to politicians in the state. State Public Relations officer, PPRO, of the command, SP Mohammed Shehu, who disclosed this in a statement made available to newsmen in Gusau, said some of the looted items had been recovered.

The recovered items are 36 bundles of wrappers, eight cushion chairs, three television sets, one 5000-litre tank, one solar panel, six bags of POP cement, one Golf 3 vehicle, two speakers, one caterpillar radiator, two rugs, one freezer, one bundle of armoured cable wire and three window burglary proofs. Others are one big gate, one office centre table, one centre table drawer, one air conditioner, seven iron rods, four doors, one ceiling fan, four signboard banners of APC, pieces of office curtain, drugs and tablets, three office chairs, bags of rice, cutlasses, knives and sticks.

The PPRO added that it was the state Commissioner of Police, CP Kolo Yusuf, who led the joint police and other security agencies that brought the situation under control.
