News Reports Delta Monarch Suspends Youths Election Over Security Concerns by joshuabiem August 21, 2023 written by joshuabiem August 21, 2023 92 The Obi of Onicha Ugbo in Aniocha North Local Government Area of Delta State, His Royal Highness Victor Chukwumalieze, has suspended the conduct of the Ogbekenu Youths election in the kingdom. The monarch made the pronouncement while addressing youths who were in his palace to brief him on the proposed election. He stated that his decision to suspend the election was based on a security issue concerning the election that has not been addressed. He urged the youths to put themselves in order and prepare adequately for the election in due course after the upcoming Ine festival in the kingdom.
