The Nigerian government, international agencies, civil society organisations, think-tanks, statesmen and academics have devoted so many energies and resources to address the issues. Despite these efforts, the problems of the region still linger. This edition of Nextier SPD Policy Weekly discusses the moral foundation of the problems of the Niger Delta with the intent to articulate a framework for promoting ethical values and leadership in the region.
