News Reports Seven Suspected Internet Fraudsters Arrested in Bayelsa by oaniunoh February 19, 2024 written by oaniunoh February 19, 2024 74 Operatives of the Port Harcourt Zonal Command of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested seven suspected internet fraudsters at an apartment in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State capital. They were arrested on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, following actionable intelligence received by the Command regarding their suspicious activities. The seven suspects were arrested at their hideout in Dowoo Road by Ox-Bow Lake, in Yenagoa. Items recovered from them are laptops and phones. The Commission added that they will be charged to court as soon as investigations are concluded.
