News Reports Suspected Cultist, 2 Robbery Suspects Arrested In Delta by oaniunoh June 20, 2024 written by oaniunoh June 20, 2024 63 The Delta State Police Command has arrested two robbery suspects in the Aladja community of Udu Local Government Area of the state. The command’s public relations officer (PPRO), SP Bright Edafe, said this yesterday in Warri. Edafe said personnel of the Aladja police out-station nabbed the suspected hoodlums. According to him, the police officers received a distress call that some suspected armed robbers were carrying out a robbery operation in the Aladja community.“The district officer, alongside members of the community, mobilised to the scene where the suspects were arrested at Igwere Quarters, Aladja. “One locally-made gun, cartridges, knife and a suspected stolen phone were recovered from them,” he said. Mr Edafe said the suspects were currently in police custody, adding that an investigation into the case was ongoing. In another development, Mr Edafe said the command’s operatives on special assignment, deployed to Ughelli, also arrested a suspected cultist.
