Commissioner of Police, Mr Adebowale Williams, told Daily Sun: “The command had arrested some suspects who terrorised the state during, before and after the last general elections. We recovered some dangerous weapon from them. “The command was impressed on how operatives applied professionalism in the discharge of their duties. They conducted themselves well. ”Also, operatives arrested 15 suspected armed robbers in Ibadan. They were arrested in various places while conducting search. Operatives on patrol on the Ibadan-Lagos Expressway rounded up the hoodlums when they were about to carry out operations. “They confessed to have been involved in various kidnapping operations. Some armed robbers were arrested along Oyo-Moniya axis. They robbed victims of their valuables, which were recovered by the police.” The CP warned the youths to shun violence.
