Troops Kill 4 bandits, Recover Arms, Ammunition in Zamfara

Troops of Operation Hadarin Daji on Tuesday, killed four bandits, following an ambush operation conducted on bandits’ hideout at Kumbo village in Bukkuyum Local Government Area of Zamfara State. Confirming the operation, Director of Defence Media Operation, Major-Gen Musa Danmadami, said: “During the encounter, troops made contact with bandits and a fierce firefight ensued.

Troops neutralised four terrorists and recovered four AK-47 rifles, two AK-47 rifle magazines, 26 rounds of 7.62mm special ammunitions and four motorcycles among other sundry items. “The military high command commends troops of Operation Hadarin Daji and encourages the general public to avail troops with credible and timely information on terrorist and all criminal activities within their area.
